Michelle has a Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Seattle, WA.
She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a qualified Mental Health Professional (MHP), helping people overcome mental health issues and improve their quality of life.
She has been trained as an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) therapist, helping people overcome trauma without causing more trauma.
She is a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP), helping people overcome addictive substances and behaviors.
She has also earned a Diploma in Holistic Health Practice (HHP) from American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS), Portland, OR. She provides information about nutrition and other natural ways to improve mental, physical & spiritual health.
Michelle has helped people with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, OCD, ADHD, anger, loss & grief, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. She has also helped people with co-occurring disorders, addictive substance use and compulsive behaviors, find relief from their addictions.
Michelle proudly and honorably served in the U.S. Navy Active Duty, for 20 years as a Chief Hospital Corpsman, Preventive Medicine Technician and retired January 2011.
